Learning that you’re at an increased risk for cancer due to a genetic mutation can be overwhelming. Our team of experts helps you understand your cancer risk and guide you to ensure you receive the appropriate screenings.

Am I eligible for the Hereditary Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic?

You are eligible if:

  • You had cancer genetic testing that identified a cancer risk mutation (also called a positive result) that increases your risk of developing cancer

AND

  • You need to meet with two or more specialists to manage the cancer screening recommendations

  • Convenience of having multiple specialist visits coordinated in one day
  • Assistance in coordinating imaging and screenings to ensure you stay on schedule with recommendations

  • Medical Oncologist
  • Breast Surgeon
  • Gynecology Oncologist
  • Gastroenterologist
  • Genetic Counselor

Referrals can be made to other specialists as needed, such as Social Work or Financial Counseling.

How can I make an appointment for the Hereditary Cancer Multidisciplinary Clinic?

You can call 513 865 5916 and ask for an appointment in our Hereditary Multidisciplinary Clinic. A referral is not required in order to schedule this appointment. You will need to provide a copy of your genetic testing results.

Healthcare providers can place a referral in EPIC using "AMB REFERRAL TO HEREDITARY CANCER MDC [REF1119]” or fax a referral form to our office.
