Angela Rath, MD, decided to pursue medicine after volunteering at Shriners Burns Hospital in high school. Caring for children has been a passion since. Being a primary care pediatrician gives her the privilege and joy of watching kids and families grow. Helping families navigate the challenges and celebrate the accomplishments throughout childhood is one her favorite aspects of being a pediatrician. As a mom of three young children, she knows how challenging yet rewarding parenting can be and she enjoys helping parents advocate for their children. She knows it takes a cooperative team to help children succeed physically and emotionally.
Dr. Rath treats pediatric and adolescent patients, from newborns through the age of 21, for a variety of common acute and chronic medical conditions. She is particularly interested in toddler and school aged care. Her practice focus includes: newborn care, common childhood illnesses (ex viral infections, ear infections, rashes), well- child visits and immunizations, development, preventative medicine, asthma, obesity and nutrition counseling, and behavioral counseling.
Dr. Rath has been with TriHealth since 2010 and loves being part of a team that strives to work with families to get and keep patients healthy.
