Karin Wetzler, MD grew up loving science and nature and knowing she wanted to do something in the medical field. Then, while working as a counselor at a horseback riding camp, she discovered her love of children and knew she had found her calling. She truly enjoys taking care of the children in her practice and supporting their parents in the very rewarding but challenging role of raising children.
Dr. Wetzler sees children from birth through 21 years of age and is thoroughly enjoying being a "grandoctor" to the children of former patients. Dr. Wetzler treats both acute and chronic illness and is an advocate for preventative care including immunizations. She has an interest in all areas of pediatrics, both medical and behavioral.
Dr. Wetzler feels that it is extremely important that both patients and parents feel supported during all the changes that happen from birth through school age, and adolescence to young adulthood. She believes in honest communication and support through all the phases of life. She believes in the goal of a healthy lifestyle despite our very busy lives. She enjoys watching her patients grow up and loves what she is doing!
