PROS Multidisciplinary Outpatient Rehabilitation

TriHealth’s Physical Rehabilitation Outpatient Services (PROS) is a unique program that offers a comprehensive treatment option for those requiring more than one discipline for treatment on an outpatient basis. Our core team of physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists, audiology, psychologists and aquatic therapy (for neurological conditions such as stroke, brain injuries, COVID-19 Rehabilitation and Parkinson's to name a few) creates a comprehensive, individualized course of therapy to maximize your level of independence.

Services

Typically, this program has been a service for those who have previously been seen by a therapist during hospitalization, but require continued care to address physical and/or cognitive impairments. Our services include:

  • Mobility
  • ADL training
  • Muscle strengthening and re-education
  • Cognitive and perceptual treatment
  • Community reintegration
  • Driver evaluation
  • Family training and education
  • Clinical Psychology

Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy may also be scheduled as an individual service, if needed.

COVID-19 Rehabilitation

COVID-19 disease and its aftermath imposes tremendous stress on individuals and families, and rehabilitation can speed recovery. The PROs COVID rehab program offers treatment for manifestations that include cardiac, pulmonary, neurologic, muscular and cognitive impairments that can occur. These issues are most prevalent in patients who experienced a prolonged illness in the hospital and especially patients who have experienced mechanical ventilation and prolonged bedrest.

Treatment includes:

  • Cognitive Rehabilitation
  • Physical Therapy
  • Swallowing Therapy
  • Speech Therapy
  • Psychological therapy

The program can be followed, if needed, by Pulmonary rehabilitation or Cardiac rehabilitation.
