While traveling abroad with her family as a child, particularly in India, Dr. Shwetha Manoharan saw suffering in many forms and wanted to be part of a solution. She knew one way to help people would be through medicine. She is passionate about women’s health and enjoys the broad spectrum of ages and conditions she can treat through obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Manoharan sees women from adolescence through menopause for all obstetric and gynecologic conditions, including well-woman care and contraception management. She also manages high-risk pregnancies and performs robotic surgery. Dr. Manoharan loves getting to know her patients. She believes in listening attentively and creates a safe environment where concerns may be shared in confidence. She encourages everyone to move more to improve mood and health.
Dr. Manoharan and her husband have two sons and a dog. Originally from Maryland, she moved to Cincinnati for her residency. She volunteers on the Good Samaritan Hospital quality committee and serves as a mentor through her alumni association. She loves to cook and host company, travel, stay active, and spend time with her growing family.
