Tasha Faruqui, DO, was inspired to pursue a career in medicine by witnessing the work of her father, a physician in the small rural town where she was raised. In this close-knit environment, she was struck by the relationships her father established with each of his patients and knew she wanted to make the same connections by helping those in need.Dr. Faruqui treats pediatric patients, newborn through age 18, for well care, acute illnesse and chronic conditions. She is particularly interested in providing newborn care. In addition, she works with patients and families on ADHD and behavioral health conditions, as well as sleep issues. Prior to working at TriHealth, Dr. Faruqui provided pediatric care at Hampton Roads Community Health Center in Portsmouth, VA. As a parent of three young children, Dr. Faruqui understands the importance of open communication and collaboration between parents and physician. Her primary goal is to place the child first, and she looks forward to partnering with parents and family members to ensure everyone is on the same team. Dr. Faruqui's practice focus includes:Common acute illnesses (e.g., viral infections, ear infections, rashes)Newborn care, Asthma, ADHD, and behavioral health issues Sleep issues, Sports medicine, and Preventive medicine.
In addition to Dr.Faruqui's work in the practice she serves as a Community Preceptor for CCHMC residents and lectures there monthly.
