From electrical stimulation for pain to body mechanics training, TriHealth‘s outpatient physical therapy centers provide a full range of comprehensive services in multiple convenient locations. We offer high-quality care based on a personalized touch, with a strong emphasis on patient education and communication.

Outpatient Physical Therapy Services

During each visit, you will be treated by our licensed, highly trained physical therapy staff that works closely with you and your physician to design an individual therapy program that best meets your specific needs. We may use any of the following services in your treatment plan:

• Posture/body mechanics training
• Electrical stimulation for pain/swelling/muscle re-education
• Balance/proprioception training
• Mechanical/manual traction (cervical/lumbar)
• Massage/soft tissue mobilization
• TENS instructions
• Joint mobilization – spinal and extremity
• Low level light therapy (cold laser)
• Strengthening/flexibility
• Iontophoresis
• Ultrasound/Phonophoresis
• Surface biofeedback for muscle re-education
• Home exercise programs
• Gait training
• Aquatic therapy, including structured warm water therapeutic exercises (Mason, Montgomery and Western Hills)
