The TriHealth Cancer & Blood Institute (TCBI), a dynamic and high-volume cancer center in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking a talented Malignant Hematologist to join our esteemed team of Oncology physicians. We invite practicing physicians and early-career candidates with clinical interests in autologous bone marrow transplants and advanced cellular therapies to apply.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose and treat a diverse patient population with blood cancers, related autoimmune conditions, and complex blood disorders. Enjoy the opportunity to step into an established program that is expanding to meet the medical needs of our communities while advancing our innovative approach in cellular therapies, particularly utilizing our autologous bone marrow transplant platform striving for an outpatient-based, patient-centered approach.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained and board certified in both Hematology and Oncology. In this position, you will:

  • Conduct diagnostic workups, including bone marrow aspirations and biopsies, as well as cytogenetic testing/immunophenotyping.
  • Perform comprehensive screening and staging.
  • Collaborate on developing innovative treatment options, employing the latest technologies in CAR-T, BiTE, bispecific antibodies, and other advanced cellular therapies to provide tailored treatment plans for each patient.
  • Develop a collaborative relationship with nursing, social work, and pharmacy. 
  • Gain rapid access to autologous bone marrow transplants through our integrated programs focused on cellular immunotherapy.
  • Utilize the latest chemotherapy drugs and combinations, along with access to peripheral stem cell support.
  • Offer patients who qualify access to cutting-edge therapies and treatment options through our participation in progressive clinical trials recognized in the medical hematology community.
  • Receive broad support from our comprehensive, multi-disciplinary team, which includes an exceptional nursing staff (many of whom are oncology certified), pain management specialists, dietitians, pharmacists, clinical psychologists, and other connected care services dedicated to ensuring each patient’s successful health journey.

Our Malignant Hematology Program is accredited by The Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy under TCBI. Established in 1995, FACT sets standards for high-quality medical and laboratory practices in cellular therapies.
