Rachel N. Pauls, MD, FACOG FPMRS is a Board Certified Specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, and fellowship training at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has been faculty for the Obstetrics and Gynecology program at TriHealth since 2006.
Dr. Pauls is the Program Director for the Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at TriHealth; Director of Research for its Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery; and Co-Director of its Women's Center for Specialized Care.
In addition to her clinical practice with Cincinnati Urogynecology Associates Dr. Pauls is an internationally renowned lecturer and researcher. She has presented both regionally and nationally. She is an invited reviewer for 15 peer-reviewed publications and is an Associate Editor for Sexual Medicine. Dr. Pauls has published over 70 journal articles and book chapters, which have been cited hundreds of times in other academic publications. Her research has been presented at over 80 meetings worldwide, and been honored with numerous awards.
Dr. Pauls was an American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists Mentor of the Year' in 2012, which she was awarded in recognition of her preeminent role in the teaching and training of aspiring physicians and surgeons.
When not in the office, Dr. Pauls can frequently be found enjoying Cincinnati with her husband and three children.
