Dr. Welshhans treats patients of all ages for ear, nose and throat issues, including thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland diseases, sinus disease, allergies, head and neck cancer, acute and chronic ear disease, benign and malignant skin lesions, pediatric otolaryngology, and nasal airway concerns including both functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty. She is specially trained in minimally-invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, including image-guided sinus surgery, and balloon sinuplasty, laser-assisted surgery, and endonasal rhinoplasty techniques. Dr. Welshhans is focused on offering outstanding care including incorporating the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Treating patients like family is a priority for Dr. Welshhans. Through an approach of open, honest communication, she engages patients in shared decision making to develop an individualized treatment plan to achieve the best outcome. She encourages patients to prioritize their own health needs and spend time on self-improvement and self-care to live their best life. In her spare time, Dr. Welshhans enjoys traveling with her husband, attending Cincinnati Ballet performances, and exploring new restaurants.
