Strongly influenced by his physician parents, Dr. Christopher Shumrick grew up immersed in the world of medicine. Science also captivated him throughout school, making medicine a good career choice. He appreciates ENT as a developing field with much variety, ranging from infection treatment to complex cancer resection and reconstruction.
Dr. Shumrick sees adults for conditions affecting the ears, nose and throat, as well as related areas in the head and neck. He practices the full breadth of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic procedures and reconstruction after trauma, cancer and Mohs surgery. He also specializes in head and neck oncologic surgery. Dr. Shumrick believes in providing the information, options and advice that patients need to make treatment decisions that best fit their wants and needs. He creates an environment where patients play a central role in the treatment process. He encourages everyone to not smoke and use sunscreen to live better.
A native Cincinnatian, Dr. Shumrick enjoys sports of all sorts, playing basketball, tennis, pickleball and skiing. He is a big fan of local pro and college teams. He also likes to read nonfiction.
