When his best friend was diagnosed with lymphoma in college, Brian Singeltary, DO, decided to focus on the treatment of cancer. His first introduction to medicine came from his mother, who was a nurse. He then worked as a nurse’s aide at The Ohio State University’s cancer center for three years prior to medical school, sealing his resolve to work on cancer.
Dr. Singeltary works to establish trust with his patients, creating a comfortable environment where difficult decisions can be made together and patients feel confident in the approach. He believes the new methods of targeting different parts of the immune system to treat cancer holds promise for the future. Although chasing twin toddlers comprises his exercise right now, Dr. Singeltary likes playing tennis, football and basketball. He believes exercise goes a long way in establishing a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Singeltary sees adult patients to diagnose, treat and manage cancer. He is especially interested in gastrointestinal and urogenital cancers
