Pregnancy Management

Congratulations on your pregnancy! This is the beginning of a wonderful and exciting change for you and your family. We are here to help guide you through your pregnancy, labor and delivery, and post-delivery period. We will do all that we can to ensure your pregnancy is safe and rewarding.

In the coming weeks you’ll receive a lot of pregnancy advice from family, friends, co-workers, etc. This information can be helpful, but please remember each pregnancy is different. When you hear what seems to be good advice, write it down and discuss it with us at your next appointment. Between your regularly scheduled visits, we are available to address any questions and concerns you have by phone or in person.

Throughout your pregnancy, you can expect to receive high quality care and professional medical advice from our physicians and staff. We look forward to assisting you during the exciting days and months ahead.

Ultrasound Guidelines

The Physicians of Oxford Obstetrics and Gynecology are pleased to offer 4D ultrasound technology for medical and diagnostic purposes. Your doctor may order an ultrasound(s) for various reasons as your pregnancy progresses. The 4D technology provides you the opportunity to see your baby in motion during the ultrasound while it provides the ability to see the heartbeat and the baby’s position.

Sex determination results, if desired, will vary based on your baby’s position and development. The ideal time to perform this service is the gestational period of 28–33 weeks. We pride ourselves in offering our patients the latest in ultrasonography services.

*There is a limit of 4 visitors in the Ultrasound room with the patient.

**Ultrasound flash drives are available for purchase after 18 weeks of gestation. The flash drive will have a copy of 12–15 3D still photos taken of your baby during your ultrasound appointment.
