TriHealth Clinic at Walgreens has rapid testing available. We use both the Abbott ID Now molecular test (highly reliable especially in symptomatic patients) and the Sofia Rapid Antigen test used by many other healthcare providers in the Cincinnati area.
We can test anyone experiencing symptoms or exposed to COVID19. It is recommended that asymptomatic patients wait until approximately 5-6 days after a known exposure for testing to limit false negative results.
Results of the PCR test take approximately 1-5 days. The result time varies based on volume of testing being performed, and is generally resulted within 24 hours for those who work in healthcare. Patients will see results immediately when they become available if signed up for TriHealth MyChart. https://mychart.trihealth.com/
While these tests are generally covered by insurance, we do recommend checking with your insurance provider prior to your visit to confirm.
If you'd like to schedule a Covid19 test more than 2 days out please call our scheduling services at (513) 853-9700 Monday-Friday from 7: 30 a.m. until 5 p.m. to schedule..
