Good Samaritan Hospital

What to Expect at the ER

What you can expectAt the Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room, formally known as the Emergency Department, our focus is quick, quality care. No matter what time of day you arrive, you can expect to be in one of our 45 emergency room beds within about 15 minutes.

  • Patients should enter the Good Sam Emergency Department through the entrance off Clifton Avenue.
  • You will be greeted by a medical professional within moments of entering the emergency room. If you arrive during our busiest hours (approximately 10 a.m. - 10 p.m.) you will be seen by a team consisting of a doctor, nurse and any other needed specialists.

Because the medical staff at Good Samaritan Hospital provides excellent treatment across a variety of specialties, patients rarely require a transfer to another medical facility.

Along with providing outstanding patient care, the Good Samaritan Hospital Emergency Department has recently undergone a renovation to make the environment more comfortable for patients and visitors.
