Originally a personal trainer, Dr. Matthew Harden found
he wanted to help a wider range of people live their
healthiest lives. He saw medicine as the perfect way
to combine his love of science with his desire to help
people. He loves building relationships with people and
seeing them do well or improve their health.
Dr. Harden sees adults for the prevention, diagnosis
and treatment of acute and chronic illness, including
hypertension and diabetes. He is also very interested in
working with athletes and the LGBTQIA+ population.
He creates a very relaxed and friendly environment
where he can work with his patients as a team. He sees
himself as a resource, an educator and an advocate
to help guide his patients throughout life. Dr. Harden
encourages everyone to find something they love that
brings more movement to their daily lives, recognizing
the positive impact exercise has on overall health.
Dr. Harden grew up in St. Louis and came to Cincinnati
for his residency. He enjoys running, lifting weights,
playing volleyball and doing escape rooms with friends.
He’s also a champion of afternoon naps.
