Kathryn Magoon, PA-C, has always had a passion for science. When she learned about the physician assistant profession, she deemed it a perfect fit. During her studies, she found the heart fascinating, and her passion for cardiology has only continued to grow. She loves collaborating with physicians and other providers to help her patients.

Kathryn sees adult patients to diagnose and treat heart conditions. As a physician assistant, she also provides follow-up care, medication management and patient education. She strives to create a supportive and trusting environment for patients, providing compassionate and personalized care. She believes thorough patient education is of great importance. She encourages everyone to engage in daily movement to benefit not only their bodies, but also their minds.

Originally from the Chicago suburbs, Kathryn now lives in Hyde Park. She has been involved with mentorship programs helping future physician assistant students learn more about the profession and guiding them through the PA school application process. She enjoys running, biking and anything active. Kathryn also loves to cook and travel.
