Dr. Jennifer Lobert has long been fascinated by the human body and how it works. While an undergrad, she took both premed and psychology courses, gaining an interest in the mind-body connection. During her training, she gained valuable experience in fibromyalgia, conducting research and seeing patients. She chose to specialize in rheumatology to work with chronic pain conditions and the role the brain plays in pain. Dr. Lobert also has rheumatoid arthritis, putting her in a unique position to understand her patients’ experiences.
Dr. Lobert focuses on treating adults with fibromyalgia and hypermobility disorders. She believes in building trusting relationships with her patients, listening to their needs, helping them feel heard and respecting their experiences. She encourages dialog and strives to learn about patients’ daily lives to guide them on the path to feeling better.
Married with three children, Dr. Lobert is a lifelong Cincinnati area resident. Active in high school and college athletics, she now enjoys taking her children to sporting events and teaching them the fundamentals of various sports. She loves reading, being outdoors with her family and travel. Dr. Lobert also volunteers with the Arthritis Foundation, focusing on patient education.
