Conditions I specialize in
  • Family Medicine
David Hayes, DO, wants to know his patients. In order to provide effective treatment, he needs to not only learn about a patient's current symptoms but also understand the person as a whole. Acknowledging that a patient knows their body best, Dr. Hayes relies on the patient to pay attention to their body and the signals it sends them.Dr. Hayes sees patients, newborns through adults, as a board-certified family practitioner with Health First Physicians Mariemont. He treats for a wide variety of health conditions, including diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia, with an emphasis on developing treatment plans for chronic conditions. Dr. Hayes partners with his patients on all facets of their healthcare needs. As he educates the patient about their condition, he recommends possible treatment options and collaborates with the patient to develop a treatment plan. In addition, Dr. Hayes emphasizes health promotion and disease prevention to help his patients achieve a high level of wellness.Away from the office, Dr. Hayes enjoys spending time with his family and staying in shape through cycling.

The results of the new meds and diabetes education were excellent. My A1C dropped 2.2 and I lost about 50 pounds. Lifestyle changes seem to be working.
