About Me

Conditions I specialize in
  • Vascular Surgery

As a pioneer in vascular procedures, Dr. Kuhn brings robust clinical expertise to TriHealth. He introduced the TCAR procedure to TriHealth in 2017, creating the first program in Cincinnati and only the second in Ohio. He then proceeded to train surgeons in TCAR in Boston and Chicago. Currently, Dr. Kuhn is sought after as one of only two area surgeons specializing in providing access to the lumbar spine in partnership with neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons on lumbar spine surgeries. Dr. Kuhn is assistant program director for the vascular surgery fellowship and residency at TriHealth. He not only is involved in furthering resident education, but he is sought out by vascular surgeons from around the world for training. With a strong interest in advancing the medical profession in vascular and vein procedures and motivated by the immediate results vascular surgeries offer, Dr. Kuhn works diligently with each patient to individualize a treatment plan using the least invasive option. Through the Vein Center, Dr. Kuhn provides medical and cosmetic treatments for venous disease and specializes in minimally invasive treatment for all types of problems of the circulatory system.

His areas of expertise include

  • Surgical access to spines
  • Aortic aneurysms
  • Carotid artery disease
  • Chronic venous insufficiency
  • Deep vein thrombosis
  • Peripheral vascular disease
  • Varicose veins
  • Growing up, Dr. Kuhn often gained inspiration from his father, who was an OB-GYN. Dr. Kuhn exacts an equally steady focus on offering the newest minimally invasive treatments to help patients live better, fuller lives. A father of four, Dr. Kuhn enjoys spending time with his family, staying physically active and cheering on his hometown Reds and Bengals. His genuine desire is to help each patient get the most out of life through improved vascular health.
