Dr. Chin has dedicated her professional career to taking care of women affected by or predisposed to breast cancer. She has an extensive background in training and experience in this field.
A board certified Plastic and Reconstructive Microvascular surgeon, Dr. Chin specializes in the most advanced methods of breast reconstruction with a particular interest in using the patient's own natural tissue for reconstruction, nipple sparing mastectomy reconstruction as well as the management of painful breast implants. She also specializes in Aesthetic Surgery of the breast and body. Her passion is evident in her understanding of the importance of impeccable technical skills and providing total care to the women undergoing treatment and surgery.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of West Indies, Dr. Chin served as a research fellow at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia studying regenerative wound healing.
In 2010, she received international recognition for her research and was named Young Investigator of the Wound Healing society and European Tissue Repair Society.
Dr. Chin completed residency and fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery. She has been named Cincinnati Top Doctor every year consistently since 2018. Currently Dr. Chin is the Division Chief of Plastic surgery at the Christ Hospital and a member of the American Society of plastic surgeons and American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.
In her personal time, Dr. Chin relishes spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and their dog Ruby.
