Ashley Cudnik, PA-C, began her healthcare career working as a mental health specialist at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and as a direct support professional at St. Joseph Home. She became interested in plastic surgery after seeing the positive impact that reconstructive surgery has on patients with cancer, chronic wounds and massive weight loss during her clinical rotations. She values the opportunity to collaborate with physicians and spend time with patients.
As a certified physician assistant, Ashley provides preand post-surgical care for plastic surgery patients. She also assists with patient assessment and development of treatment plans. She prioritizes creating an environment of trust and validation, helping her patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. She believes in transparency and provides education on treatments, procedures and post-operative care. Ashley encourages everyone to advocate for themselves in getting care.
A native of Columbus, OH, Ashley enjoys traveling, art and outdoor activities, such as hiking and bike riding. She has volunteered with the Opening Minds Through Art program, helping residents with dementia gain back some autonomy by creating beautiful works of art.
