Influenced by watching her father and grandfather taking care of people in her native country of Brazil, Ana Elisa Bacila Pantel, MD, saw that being a doctor was a privilege that allowed her to connect, to bring comfort and hope, and to take care of people in need.
Dr. Pantel chose to specialize in obstetrics and gynecology because she wants to provide continuity of care to women through all phases of life. She also embraces preventive medicine. Dr. Pantel likes the opportunity to work in the operating room, and loves sharing the excitement of a family's most miraculous moment the birth of a child.
Married with two children, Dr. Pantel enjoys spending time with her family, bicycling, cooking, gardening, and traveling.
She is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish.
