TriHealth, Cincinnati’s leading integrated health care delivery system, has opened the doors to a new comprehensive medical facility in Springfield Township that will put the region’s 180,000 residents for the first time within minutes of a modern, high-tech health care facility equipped to deliver convenient access to the full range of medical services, including priority care for urgent cases.
TriHealth’s new Finneytown ambulatory campus will put local patients just minutes away from important services including wound care; X-ray and laboratories; fracture evaluation and treatment; minor burn care; sports- and work-related injuries; cold and flu assessments; and much more. Finneytown’s Priority Care Services will also be available during weeknights and weekends, as urgent care needs occur often at the most inconvenient times.
Finneytown will also serve as a one-stop shop offering residents services including primary care appointments for pediatric and adult patients; obstetrics/gynecology; X-ray, CT, mammography and DEXA scans; cardiology services and testing; Beacon Orthopaedics; ENT/audiology; lab and phlebotomy testing; neurology; pain management; physical therapy; pulmonary; and urology.
Finneytown is TriHealth’s 13th major ambulatory center and is the health care system’s most recent investment aimed at meeting our bold commitment to offer convenient access to TriHealth within a 15-minute drive of every Cincinnati resident. The health care system’s other ambulatory center locations include Western Ridge, Kenwood, Liberty, Thomas Center, Anderson, among others. Construction on the 58,000 square-foot, $25 million Finneytown facility began last spring.
“An important part of getting health care right is expanding access to care and ensuring that the hundreds of thousands of individuals we serve are able to get the care they need, when and where they need it,” said TriHealth President and CEO Mark Clement. “Health care delivery is rapidly transitioning to outpatient settings, and TriHealth has been proactive in building the region’s largest and most comprehensive ambulatory or outpatient network of major medical campuses like Finneytown. We are excited with the addition of our Finneytown location and are eager to begin serving the community’s residents where they live.”
Finneytown was selected as the site of TriHealth’s latest ambulatory center after finding it was an underserved area of Greater Cincinnati, with few primary care and specialty services compared with other areas. TriHealth regularly examines the health care needs of the Cincinnati area to ensure residents throughout the region are within minutes of needed health care service. In addition to Finneytown, TriHealth will open a new Priority Care center on Kings Mills Road, near Mason, later this summer. These urgent care locations will supplement TriHealth’s priority care services in Anderson, Liberty Township, Mason, Oxford and Western Hills.
Ensuring all Cincinnati residents have quick access to primary, urgent and specialty care practices is a cornerstone of TriHealth’s population health care model, which treats patients’ short- and long-term physical, mental and emotional needs.
