Health Talk Live: Common Symptoms of COVID 19 and Similarities to Other Illness

With the increase in the availability for COVID-19 testing, doctors are getting a lot of questions from patients inquiring about their symptoms and asking if they could be tested. In this segment of TriHealth’s Health Talk Live, Local 12’s Liz Bonis talks with Scott Woods MD, a family medicine specialist with TriHealth, who provides more detail about the most common symptoms of COVID-19 and the similarities and differences from those of other illnesses. One such illness, which is going around at the time, is mononucleosis. Dr. Woods discusses the most significant differences between the two. He also touches on some recent advances on treatment of COVID-19.
