Scott Farwick, Lead Applications Engineer, quickly realized that TriHealth was the place for him after leaving for a new opportunity at another organization.
“After about six months, I realized that the grass isn’t always greener,” says Scott. “It wasn’t exactly home. It didn’t feel like home.”
Scott was able to return to TriHealth after finding a new role within Information Systems on the Diversified Solutions team. He was thrilled to return to the culture of TriHealth and to be back at a place that felt like home.
Shortly after returning to TriHealth as a team member, he was diagnosed with a severe health issue requiring a life-saving surgery that gave him the unique opportunity to also experience TriHealth as a patient.
“From admitting to discharge to outpatient care, everyone played a great part,” says Scott, “From being a patient who was well taken care of, and still here today, as well as a team member loving what I do, and serving the people that we care for, I live the passion and the values of our mission statement from both sides of the fence.”
After recovering from surgery and returning to work, Scott learned that his team had donated some of their PTO to help support his recovery. This was just another example of TriHealth feeling like home for Scott.
“I care about all the people I run into at work because I know what they do for our patients,” says Scott. “TriHealth is home and I’m where I want to be.”
