Bariatric (Weight Loss) Surgery
- The Good Samaritan Weight Management Center offers gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy and Lap-Band procedures to help those with out of control weight live healthier, longer lives. The expert, professional staff also offers patients nutritional, exercise and lifestyle education. The Center is accredited by the American Society for Bariatric Surgery.
Cardiac (Heart) Surgery

Bethesda North and Good Samaritan hospitals are area leaders in cardiac surgery, together performing about 700 cardiac surgeries each year and offering dedicated nursing units for heart surgery patients that allow them to remain in one room for their entire post-surgical stay. Services include traditional open heart surgery and robotic-assisted heart surgery options for bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement, and arrhythmia treatment.
Obstetrics and Gynecology Surgery

Obstetrical and gynecological surgery at Bethesda North and Good Samaritan hospitals focuses on the following areas: vaginal hysterectomies, which can be performed through the abdominal, laparoscopic, robotic or suracervical; infertility procedures, such as microtuboplasty; and vaginal reconstructive procedures including Sacral Spinous vaginal suspension, vaginal vault suspension, vaginoplasty, paravaginal repairs, and recto and vesico vaginal fistula repair. Other surgical methods consist of laparoscopic and hysteroscopy procedures, and sub-urethral slings for urinary incontinence. With a combination of compassion and expertise, TriHealth delivers the best in orthopedic surgery, including total and partial joint replacement; hand and upper extremity surgery; bone oncology surgery; foot and ankle care; and fracture and trauma care.

Bethesda North Hospital Ambulatory Surgery Center (NASC)
- NASC is a JCAHO-accredited department of Bethesda North Hospital, specializing in outpatient surgery including plastics, orthopedics, gynecology and general surgeries. Directly accessible from the hospital, NASC has offered innovative surgical techniques to ensure quality and best care practices for more than 20 years. The NASC staff, many of whom have 20+ years of pre-op/PACU/operating room experience, works as a team to provide the best care possible for patients. Good Samaritan Hospital Outpatient Treatment Center (OTC)
- Located within Good Samaritan Hospital, the OTC provides ambulatory care for minor surgical procedures, outpatient medical treatments, and outpatient procedures for acute/chronic pain. Staffed by highly trained and tenured physicians, registered nurses and ancillary staff, the OTC provides general surgery services as well gynecology, orthopedic, otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat), and
